The amount of bait you use will depend on
the density of the bait used. The Verminator
will distribute approximately 2 to 3 lbs of
milo or milo-mixed bait per acre when using
20 to 25 ft spacing between rows. The
machine delivers a small amount of bait
every 3 feet. Given that a gopher will
travel over 800 ft of tunnel per day, they
will encounter several bait piles and chances
to eat, without over baiting and wasting
bait. For custom situations and customers
who want more bait to drop, we offer an
optional sprocket that will increase the
bait drop to every 20 inches. |
